Hubungan antara Konsumsi Kopi terhadap Dismenore pada Mahasiswi Fakultas Kedokteran Universitas Pembangunan Nasional Veteran Jakarta

Abstract


Latar belakang. Dismenore merupakan kondisi nyeri ketika menstruasi dan merupakan keluhan ginekologis paling umum di dunia. Kondisi dismenore pada perempuan menyebabkan kelemahan dan mengganggu aktivitas sehari-hari. Mahasiswi kedokteran berada pada rentang usia rentan mengalami dismenore dan memiliki beban studi yang tinggi sehingga memicu suatu tindakan untuk tetap terjaga dalam menjalani studi dengan mengonsumsi kopi. Kafein dalam kopi memicu perparahan dismenore. Tujuan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan konsumsi kopi terhadap dismenore pada mahasiswi Fakultas Kedokteran Universitas Pembangunan Nasional Veteran Jakarta. Metode. Penelitian ini merupakan analitik observasional menggunakan desain penelitian cross-sectional. Jumlah sampel penelitian sebanyak 62 responden. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan metode simple random sampling. Kuesioner terdiri atas data diri, kuesioner konsumsi kopi, dan kuesioner WaLIDD. Analisis data pada penelitian ini menggunakan uji fisher exact. Hasil. Hasil penelitian ini didapatkan bahwa tidak terdapat hubungan (p = 0,748) antara konsumsi kopi dengan dismenore. Diskusi. Hal ini dapat disebabkan adanya faktor lain yang menyebabkan dismenore dan kadar kafein pada kopi yang tergantung pada jenis kopi yang diminum dan frekuensi meminum kopi. Kesimpulan. Tidak terdapat hubungan antara konsumsi kopi dengan dismenore pada mahasiswi Fakultas Kedokteran Universitas Pembangunan Nasional Veteran Jakarta.
