Systematic Review : Potensi Kurkumin Dalam Rimpang Kunyit (Curcuma Longa Linn) Sebagai Anti-Inflamasi Pada Gastritis Akibat Infeksi Helicobacter Pylori

Abstract


Abstrak. Gastritis dapat didefinisikan sebagai proses peradangan pada lapisan mukosa dan submukosa lambung yang terutama disebabkan oleh H. pylori . H. pylori termasuk ke dalam penyakit infeksius paling umum yang berkoloni pada lambung lebih dari 50% populasi di dunia.Tingginya prevalensi penyakit ini membuat berbagai macam pengobatan baik konvensional maupun terus dikembangkan, salah satunya adalah penggunaan tanaman tradisional yaitu kunyit ( C. longa L . ). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui potensi kurkumin dalam rimpang kunyit ( C. longa L. ) sebagai anti inflamasi pada gastritis akibat infeksi H. pylori . Metode : Tinjauan pustaka yang sistematisdengan literatur pencarian menggunakan PubMed dan Google Scholar . Literatur yang didapatkan diseleksi dengan metode PRISMA-P yang menghasilkan 8 jurnal sesuai dengan kriteria inklusi dan eksklusi. Hasil : Dari 8 jurnal yang diteliti menyimpulkan bahwa senyawa kurkumin yang terkandung dalam rimpang C. longa L. memiliki efek anti-inflamasi pada gastritis akibat infeksi H. pylori. Kesimpulan : pemberian senyawa kurkumin dalam rimpang kunyit ( C. longa L.) memiliki potensi dalam mengurangi inflamasi yang disebabkan oleh bakteri H. pylori. Mekanisme yang memiliki aktivitas farmakologis kurkumin yaitu menghambat kontes beberapa sitokin dan mediator inflamasi seperti IL-1β, IL-6, IL-8, IL-9, IL-10, IL-23a, IFN-ɣ, TNF-ɑ, MMP-3 , MMP-9, TLR, COX-2, NF-kB dan iNOS. Kurkumin juga dapat meningkatkan produksi AP-1 yang merupakan faktor pemicu nyata dari 15-PGDH yaitu faktor pengatur tingkat intraseluler PGE2 yang termasuk senyawa pro-inflamasi.
