Efek pendidikan teknik injeksi insulin terhadap kontrol glikemik pada pasien diabetes mellitus: A systematic review
Abstract
Latar belakang: Prevalensi DM meningkat dari tahun ke tahun dan mengkhawatirkan. Salah satu bagian dari pengobatan terapi kolaboratif DM dengan pemberian insulin. Terapi insulin pada pasien DM bergantung pada teknik injeksi insulin yang benar dan untuk mencapai kontrol glikemik. Namun sayangnya, ada kesenjangan besar antara pedoman rekomendasi dan praktik penggunaan insulin. Sehingga, penting untuk meningkatkan pendidikan teknik injeksi insulin. Tujuan: untuk mengidentifikasi secara sistematis pendidikan teknik injeksi insulin, terhadap kontrol glikemik. Metode: desain systematic review dengan pencarian literatur melalui: PubMed, Proquest, Sciencedirect, EBSCO host, DOAJ, dan Cochrane. Berfokus pada pendidikan teknik injeksi pada kontrol glikemik, jenis studi Clinical trials, cohort, quasi-experiment, full text, bahasa Inggris dan dipublikasikan tahun (2010 - 2020). Hasil: Tujuh artikel teridentifikasi dan direview ditemukan mayoritas dengan pemberian pendidikan tentang teknik injeksi dapat menurunkan kadar HbA1c (p < 0.01), dengan durasi intervensi 10 menit hingga 12 minggu. Kesimpulan: pemberian pendidikan teknik injeksi insulin berefek positif dalam mengontrol kadar glikemik HbA1c pada pasien DM. Kesimpulan: pemberian pendidikan teknik injeksi insulin, walaupun durasi yang singkat dapat berdampak pada kontrol glikemik. Namun, perlu dilakukan penelitian lebih lanjut dengan desain studi RCT dan follow up untuk melihat efek jangka panjang pada kontrol glikemik.
