APPLICATION AGILE METHODS IN THE DESIGN OF RAW MATERIAL INVENTORY APPLICATIONS AT CV BINTANG HARAPAN JAYA WEB-BASED

Abstract


Information technology is needed in the form of computerization, especially in the process of production activities. CV Bintang Harapan Jaya in production activities has problems because it still uses a manual system that is recorded in a ledger which causes losses and inaccuracies in production data reports, especially raw material data and production data. So it takes a raw material inventory application that will help the process of production activities and inventory data management that is currently running at CV Bintang Harapan Jaya. The system design method that will be used is Agile Development with Extreme Programming (XP) Model. The Extreme Programming model has 4 stages in website design. The purpose of making this information system design is to build a website-based raw material inventory application design to help regulate the process of production activities and make it easier for those who check data related to inventory and use of raw materials and data for semi-finished products and finished products. As well as making it easier for warehouse staff to place orders for raw materials to suppliers. By making this raw material inventory application, it can increase effectiveness and efficiency in helping CV Bintang Harapan Jaya in carrying out production process activities.
