Abstract

The General Election of UPN Veterans Jakarta Student Families (Pemira) is an activity carried out by the UPN Veterans Jakarta Student Consultative Assembly every year with the participation of active students. This activity was carried out online using the website provided by MPM UPN Veteran Jakarta. In Pemira 2020, it was recorded that there were only 3,658 of the 10,870 voters. The high level of traffic during simultaneous elections, coupled with the large number of people who want to change the vote count illegally, as well as the use that is considered too complicated by the student, makes students itself become pessimistic about the online voting system. The purpose of this study is to measure the level of user experience in conducting general elections on the Pemira MPM UPN Veteran Jakarta website, as well as redesigning the website interface which is more attractive to students. This user experience measurement uses a User Experience Questionnaire (UEQ) method and User-Centered Design approach as a framework for conducting this research. The output of this research is the user-friendly interface of the Pemira website, thereby increasing student participation in using the website. Based on the results of data processing on the user experience of the new Pemira website design, the level of user experience increases on the dependability and stimulation indicators which is indicate that the redesign results on the Pemira website have met expectations to improve the user experience of the website.
